While I spent the last week with Bob Meiser Rod, called Fred Evans Special! Yea that Fred Evans, It was a pleasure to cast it 530 – 580 grains. It handled the wind just right, I ended up just casting it not really fishing, and I started casting for distance bad sign to much fun casting it.

St. Croix Pro Graphite 9' 6wt and 9'6" 8wt. Then I also have an old fiberglass rod about the equivilent to a slow action 5wt.

Just an old GL3 9'5wt for the summer and a 9'6" 8wt St Croix for the winter. And maybe a GL2 7'6" 4wt and a Sage 9' 6wt throw in for other things. You never know what you are going to fish for until you get to where it is you are going. And these four rods cover all that I need along with several different lines. Jim... I try to keep it simple.

just been using a winston ltx 9' 5 weight. i also have a fenwick fenglass ff80, 8' 8 weight that hasnt seen use yet. need a reel, and i haven't got the stones up yet to try steelhead on the fly. still trying to get the trout thing down. soon i will have an old montague highlander bamboo, just need to finish rewrapping the eyes back on. steve
