There is no risk to this drug, it cost 10 cents per dose and has been prescribed as a preventative drug for 60 years. I know many people who have taken it off all ages without any side affects or warning from their doctor prior to COVID.

My wife has been on it for years, it suppresses your immune response.
It has potentially serious side effects that she needs to be tested for.
They were hoping it would help reduce the over response of the immune system from C19 that creates the cytokine storm, which can lead to the severe damage and death.
It's not a miracle drug, taking it ahead of time wouldn't prevent you from getting C19.
Just another low IQ conspiracy theory we need to somehow eradicate.
