Shouldn't this be the Northwest fishing board. Not to many fly fishers want to know how to cut bait and mooch with down riggers. At least I don't.

Well I used to fish that way but. I gave it up. I have tried all different ways of fishing and now in my later years I have decided to just fling the flies.. Not really intrested in gear,cut bait,or worms.

I love to cut bait for mooching and troll w/ DR's, but I'm also very interested in improving my fly fishing skills.

I only hope that when I change my Display name to "Old Man" I don't feel so strongly about one particular method vs. another.

Maybe you aught to clip your fly line to my downrigger and re-live your good old days.
