Shouldn't this be the Northwest fishing board. Not to many fly fishers want to know how to cut bait and mooch with down riggers. At least I don't.

Jim You know Old Man, you might be correct. But I happen to know that we have several fly fishermen in the Seattle Poggie Club who have broadened their horizons when it comes to fishing. You should check out our website (www.seattlepoggies.com) and come to a meeting. It's free! You can meet a great group of fishing minded people. We'd love to see you.

Well I used to fish that way but. I gave it up. I have tried all different ways of fishing and now in my later years I have decided to just fling the flies.. Not really intrested in gear, cut bait,or worms.

Hey there Jim aka: Old Man. I love to cut bait for mooching and troll w/ DR's, but I'm also very interested in improving my fly fishing skills. I only hope that when I change my Display name to "Old Man" I don't feel so strongly about one particular method vs. another. Maybe you aught to clip your fly line to my downrigger and re-live your good old days. Jeff
