Any one have a recommendation on a shipping service for vehicles?

I am purchasing a four runner and the one I want is in Southern California and I would like to have it shipped here so I don't have to miss work.

Lots of companies to choose from would like to hear about your experience. Thanks in advance!

I shipped a car from Bakersfield to western WA earlier this year.

It needed to be enclosed and showed up perfect.
Let me know if you want more info.

United Road typically has the best pricing..

Drove to spanaway today instead of tagging along and being in elk camp but at least I still punched my tag!

Paid 7400$ cash for a super sweet 2006 limited v8 Toyota 4Runner.
Was holding out for a sr5 but this was way too clean and only has 147k on it. Been shopping a lot newer but this one just checks every box and now there is no doubt I can do all the towing I will ever need to do!

It’s silver which I’m not crazy about but man is it clean and I’m the lucky third owner. Death in family money issues virus blah blah blah.

Bone stock at the moment but we had wheels and tires ordered before we even made it back into town. Timing belt water pump done and thousands of dollars in maintenance records.

Tires are bald.
Windshield is barley legal from a rock almost going through it. Other then that it’s perfect.

We were the fifth call on the cars listing within ten minutes. Money talks! Was able to talk him way down due to windshield.
Clean car fax.
Super happy. Toyota tech mechanic buddy with me to inspect that works here in town at local dealership.

It sounds so good going uphill and laying into it. Wife is happy too that I got a good deal and found such a good buy. Win win.

That’s all for now. Might go kill fish tomorrow buddy went 5 for 9 in three holes first light up high floating a local trib and I need to row my boat after driving seven hours today. Smiling.

Retail therapy should always be enjoyable - nice job WP! Seems like a screamin' deal for a Toyota? I'm not well versed on Toyota's, but anything under 200K/4WD/Xtra Cab/Decent condition is $12K+ I believe??

I bought a new Toyota in 92 for $12,000. I beat the snot out of it and never had to repair anything. After 20 years, some of the same trucks were selling around between $6000 and $10000 if the mileage was not too high. The resale on those things is incredible.

Hell of a deal for sure.
These go any where from 12k to 18k all day.
Glad to be on the good end of one of these deals.

Congrats, 4Skinners are the best Ute's around, only way to make them better is to make them a T100.

Testimonial time.. bought my 98 SR5 in 99 with 14,000 on it, not much it hasn't done, from going airborne with my 4wheel camper on it coming out of the oxbow ramp in the old days to hauling a pallet of landscape blocks that I didn't realize weighed 3400 lbs until I got home (airbags are the shzit) to getting stolen and recovered, to finally putting a clutch in it at 340,000 miles, pushing 360,000 now and it just started to need a bit of an oil add between changes, quit changing spark plugs at 280,000 and still have not even pulled a valve cover off of it for any reason, it's starting to look like it's been through it a bit....but then again so am I so it's a good fit. Bought a Tundra just because I wanted one then sold it when I realized the T-Rex was a better rig for me...anywhere, anytime, anything.

Just go.

4runners rule for sure. Body on frame strong.

But back in the day, Nissan made some good ones...before Renault fuccked it all up.

I bought an 02 Pathfinder 4x4 new and after 200k miles it runs like new. Only plugs and a set of brakes. (well fluids, of course). And it rocks offroad and tows stuff with ease.

Made in Japan.
