Steamer. I fish my ass off. I probably travel more in a year than many do in a lifetime and that's just chasing steelhead. I also catch ditch pickles. I don't fish as often as I used to. In my 20s I used to fish 250 days out of the year. I was an animal then. Caught a lot of fish too. These days I'm just grateful to be able to get out anymore.

i carry everything, for trout to salmon, could probably catch everything i want to actually...  whats in the bag? everything... 2 fillet knives, 2 pairs of pliers, 2 1300 yard rolls of line, scents, few coils of hollow core, balls, slinkies, inlines, scissors etc..  i weighed it, without my jig box, and bait, its at 40... so probably around 50 with water and bait and the other sh!t... i suppose i could lighten it up, but fvck it... right?

It would be a little weird, but I could get used to it after a while I'm sure. I'd tell you how to not do stupid things, too, like packing around 40 pounds of gear you don't need.

I snagged up the other day and lost 1300 yards of line. Good thing I brought two spools. I do like to have the entire 5 lb. spool of both 3/16 and 1/4 inch lead with me in case I snag up 394 times.
