just wondering if thiers any report on the stilly summer run. Got me a fly rod and never have fished it for the summers, don't really know when they come in. thanks for any report. Also after all these years fishing the rivers still don't really understand this non-bouyount lurer rule.

I was driving around for work up there the other day and stopped at fortson, saw no fish laying in there. Doesn't wean there weren't any but I would say there weren't many. As an aside, I was looking in the regs for the N.fork and I didn't see that it is fly only right now. I know it should be but it looks like they messed up.

Yes it is fly only, the corrections were on wdfw's web page. I heard of two caught on skykomish sunrise flies, or something like that?

I was up yesterday, not fishing, just looking around. The river was well on its way to being low. Didn't see any fish in the spots I could look into and only saw one guy fishing, though I didn't go to Hazel or Fortson. I have a friend who lives on the river and I haven't talked to him since it opened. If he caught anything I would have heard about it.

I also did the drive by thing yesterday. Stopped by the bridge on C.Post road and saw nothing in the big hole under the bridge. Except that the river runs different under the bridge now.

I will fish, regardless of wether or not I spot any. I'm unable to fish for a bit so I've gone just to get out. Was up again yesterday and Thursday. Didn't spot any then either.
