Since the data isn't in on whether getting vaccinated prevents you from potentially spreading the virus, there's really only one very simple option.
This may be tough for the lower IQ segment of the population to really grasp, but just get f'n vaccine.
Or be at a higher risk of getting it.
Some people want a 100% or nothing option, again, they were mentioned in lower IQ comment above.
Yes, even if it turns you can still spread it after getting vaccinated, it shouldn't be a prob if everyone gets the shots. I will be first in line when they call my age group. Then I will start going back to a normal life. The stupishits can refuse and get get sick and die if they insist.

Can you cite a reliable source for your claim? I'm asking with the best of intentions, because the only reliable information I've seen to date says the vaccines are between 90 and 95% effective at preventing infection and 100% effective at preventing severe illness among the 5-10% infected. Even if that's wrong, and it's "only" 100% effective at keeping people alive, sign me up! The only reason I fear this virus is that NOBODY knows what it's going to do to them if they get it. If we can be assured it won't kill us, we can get back to normal and treat the virus like the flu your hero was so fond of comparing it to. That's a pretty big win.
Those "facts" tend to be not likely, but possible in some situations.
They are speculation for click bait headlines. And since we don't have decades of data, anything could be possible.
There are headlines every day on "what if" scenarios with every possible outcome. When you read down about 2/3 of the way it will say something like, while this hasn't been shown to be the case, and it hasn't happened, it is possible.
Evo never gets that far into the article before becoming frustrated with big words and gives up.

Everything had already been shipped and allotments are being cut to states that were expecting to be able open vaccinations to a larger group of people right away.

That sucks man. I ended up in the hospital last year due to health issues. We can all joke about it but not one of us goes through life without being affected by people getting sick or dying,and none of us are getting out of this thing alive.
My son had a reaction to a medicine a few years back. One those one in a million type things, where no one actually expects it to happen. Luckily my wife had an odd feeling and was watching him very closely. Got him in to the ER in time, but it was very scary. Had to take my Dad in one time too, due to a reaction. Considering you probably are in pretty good health and are fairly young, I wouldn't take it either.

I don't have reactions to anything...other than some of posts that show up here on the Darkside.
I will say of all the shots I've had, the shingles vaccination was one mean shot. Not only did my damn truly hurt the next day, I had 24 hours of feeling like crap after both the 1st and second shots. Well worth it, considering I hear getting the shingles sucks worse than <INSERT BOARD MEMBER HERE>'s Mom.

Parker, Interesting about the reaction you had to the shingles shot. You are like the fifth person I know that has reported similar symptoms. No issues with it for me. My only issue is it took me nine months to finally get it due to lack of supplies.
My mom and all the residents in her care facility got their first Covid shot last weekend. No issues with anyone and one of the ladies that lives there is 104 years old.
I’m hoping to get mine soon but I think it will be awhile. SF

Got the first Shingles shot and a flu shot in the same arm, same day and about an inch apart. Next day it felt like Don Cerrone had used my left bicep/tricep as a kicking target.
I still have to get the second shingles shot, but will do so happily if it keeps me from getting shingles. My wife had it, and it didn't look like it was any fun at all.
I've had the same doc for over 10 years, and if she says I need the vaccine and that it's safe for me to take, I'm damn well gonna listen to her.
My lungs are FUBAR'd from 45 years of smoking cigs, plus God only knows how many pounds of weed during the same 45 years. If I get Covid, it's very likely I'll end up as a statistic and spend my eternity pushing up daisies.
The shingles shots didn't really have an affect on me, and there have only been a few shots over the years that did.
While I may able to get a covid shot in a week or so, I don't count on it being that soon, there will be a huge rush and still somewhat limited supplies.
Evo has a good reason to not get one, the other excuses listed here are just to counter a political viewpoint that someone may not agree with.
By the time most people are able to get the shot there will have been many millions around the world that have already had it. So most of the potential side effects will have been well documented.

I see that I'm eligible to receive the vaccine just as soon as I can find a place that will give it to me. I'll do it.
As for shots hurting, I never noticed it until I got my flu shot this fall. First time, and my arm was sore for a couple days. I think it's the guy at Rite Aid who gave me the shot. It hurt right from the start, and I think it's because this fellow just wasn't as good at giving shots as the other nurses and medical technicians that have given me shots in the past. Giving painless shots might be an art form.
We will have taxes to pay and many mouths to feed for free.
Been open and paying those taxes and feeding those mouths the last four years just the same as the 37 years before that...
At least with trump gone we have a chance of getting past Covid and moving ahead.....you know he's cost us more than all the welfare queens and all the handouts in the history of America with his promotion of the Corona Virus, right?

With the CDC recommending a 4th covid vaccine at this point, I wonder how many darksiders have happily complied with this recommendation? Will anyone get the 5th or 6th once those are recommended too?
