2006 Kaufmanns' Spey Days

On March 18th & 19th, Kaufmanns' is proudly sponsoring the fourth annual Spey Days on the Skykomish River at Big Eddy Park. What?!!! That's a prime native steelhead fishing weekend. Who's gonna' attend then, unless the rivers are blown out like they are this week? It was questionable enough to have it in mid-February, but there's few enough fish then that it's worth allocating a scarce weekend to the Spey casting demo.

I think the rationale was that the Sky was closed for fishing, therefore it would be a good time to hold the SpeyClave.

It will be a tough call if other rivers that ~are~ open are fishing well.

Everyone should attend this spey casting demo in March. No exceptions please.

Sparks, having Simon there is worth the 'price of the trip' by itself! Neat guy, and have plenty of his book on hand for signing/sale.

NONE on spey casting has approached this/his level.
