Hello, I'm writing from the Snohomish area just north of Woodinville, WA.

For the past two years I've been restoring a 1991 Aquasport 21' walkaround.

The last step is the repower. I currently have two brand-new Yamaha outboards, 250HP and 9.9HP, which were finally delivered to my marine dealer after a six-month wait. The guys at the dealership are great, have worked with them for years, but they're slammed and can't commit to a time when they can mount/rig the motors.

If I can get the dealer to mount the 250HP on the boat I'm looking for a qualified marine tech willing to work a side job who can help me get both motors rigged. (A buddy and I can mount the 9.9HP no problem.) Would need to connect both motors to power, throttle/shift cables (703 and 704 binnacles already assembled), 250HP power steering, 250HP gauges (already mounted), etc.

Also need help connecting my anchor windlass and trim tabs to power, should be an easy task for a qualified tech. Windlass wiring requires relays between helm switch and motor (I have the relays.) Bennett trim tab control panel needs one wire to be connected to the 250HP ignition.

I also purchased a Reactor 40 autopilot system for the kicker. If someone could help me install that I would be totally set.

All parts needed to complete the rigging are on the boat & ready to go. With the exception of the tower I've done all the restoration work myself including a full re-wire, so I'm pretty capable. Tech and I could work as a team.

If this is a project you're qualified to tackle let me know your availability, where you'd prefer to do the work, and how much you'd charge. If you can't help but know someone who can, please pass this along.
Thanks, Eric

Wow, no easy answer here. You have lots to do, should have been a part of the new motors purchase.

I'd "take a number" at 3 Rivers....they have all the equipment and knowledge to get the job done......might get spendie, but done right is so important.

Not a lot of help, not my $$$$$$$ but sometimes ya gota do what ya gota do!!!!!!
