Welcome back, Brewer! Most everything you posted is correct. But I’m sure the mods will edit or delete this thread since there is no more darkside anymore and this isn’t fishing related. Basically the mods got tired of Jake shi77ing all over every thread and closed it down. It can still be accessed through clicking “active topics” in the upper right hand corner of this page, but only a few people have been posting in it.

Opportunity - “Mega Perch” as we call it. The grandkids and I decided that We needed to learn how to engage in an opportunity that does not require any help from the WDFW, is sustainable for our limited fishing budget, and for this season, had to be centered around a game fish we have never angled for, so Yellow Perch it is.

Now if we can just learn how to tie a good drop shot knot, we should be filleting in no time.
