Strangely enough, the top vaxxxtards are all anti-Trumper Democrats. The party as a whole believes in reparations for the oppressed and marginalized. Since the members of the vindicated list were all mostly correct, they are owed reparations from all the vaxxxtards on the list. I don’t personally need reparations, but a simple apology or admitting that they are/were wrong will suffice.

Hmm, even though this partial listing of PP anti vaxx proponents may appear to be Trump supporters, they were also very cautious and questioning of the first Vaccine’s, (Moderna’s vaxx if memory serves) efficacy, testing, safety, and its broad brushed rush to jab anything with a heartbeat. All these concerns were valid, and still are to this day,

yet -

They still appear to support the Trump administration responsible for getting the vaccines put into production as quickly as possible in an effort to try and protect the population from an unknown viral attack.

At the time, all they received for this questioning and concern, was absolute ridicule, derision, and labels like killers of the Old Folks, anti Science, anti Fowchee, flat earthers, and on and on.

So, IMO, clearly there are no signs of the TDS illness in this listing of Anti jabbers. Not so sure about the Pro-vaxx jabber listing above however.

So, entering into the flu and covid seasons, is anyone going to get their 17th booster this year? Anyone care to list the pros and cons for me to make an informed decision?

Certainly not my 17th, but am up to date. As with the flu and other recommended vaccines. I am old enough to have consider the need to not get sick, with anything. So far, the only side effects were a day or so of lethargy. Haven't had the flu, had Covid (mild) once that was beat down by Paxlovid in a day or two. Know I have been exposed because I sat next to a guy own a 12 hour flight who was proudly anti-vax and developed it.

So, my and my wife and family's limited experience is that we got the shots and we missed bad disease. Your personal results may vary.

Thanks for the reminder. I usually get a flu and covid shot in Sept. or Oct.

I’ve heard of 5 different people catching covid in the last week. All 5 of them were vaccinated. Maybe they didn’t get the most recent booster in time?

I may have gotten it wrong but my belief is that while some vaccines prevent disease others at least significantly reduce the impact. Mild versus severe. You can add me to the list of up to date Covid vaccine receipt and one mild easily treated case.

I think you can make a case for it, although a stronger case can be made for healthy diet, exercise and sleep. I and many others close to me prioritize these things, get no vaccines, and never get the flu or covid. Too much value is place on believing the vaccine is a good substitute or is necessary to prevent or minimize viral infections and diseases.

But… don’t count on the government to to tell you this.

I agree with Streamer that a good diet, exercise, and sleep cure/prevent a variety of diseases. But, as when I worked, I was in a densely populated environment I needed more. Been quite a bit more "disease free" since retiring even if my running has gone downhill.
