Does either Rainbow jigs or Fish Dr. sell jig bodies so you can tie your own? (Molded).
If they do, where can I get them?

Rainbow Jigs sells plain or painted jigheads for anglers who tie there own. They are available in 5 sizes....1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4 and 3/8, all of them except the 1/32 come with a heavy wire hook for Steelhead and Salmon fishing. E-mail them at rainbowjigs@aol.com and they will help you out.

Gammakatsu makes a jig hook. Comes in sizes up to 3/0. You have to tie on lead eyes. But the finished product is pretty effective. Around $8 for 25 hooks.

Thanks Kore, the Gamis have been my staple lately. But I was looking for pre-molded lead on the hook. I love the Gami jig hooks in heavy wire, my biggest problem has been finding jig bodies with heavy enough hooks.

Huntar,
Silent Approach Jigs also sells just the heads, plain or painted. they come on xxx strong Mustad hooks with no collar and three sizes:
1/16th, 1/8th and 1/4oz. the painted ones
are powder coated, and then baked, for a brilliant finish, you couldn't chip them if you tried. and the eyes are free of paint unlike some painted jigheads and in a variety of colors, check out our website, for a color referance. www.silentapproach.com

At Rainbow Jigs we offer a full line of painted or unpainted jigheads in 5 sizes and a variety of colors. All our painted heads are primed, painted and clear coated. We offer the collarless version or the recommended collared jighead(Collared jigheads are easier to tie with and hold the pink worm on well). We also do custom jighead work, for instance we can pour leadheads on the new heavy wire Gamakatsu jig hooks or we can pour larger hooks into the heads. We have a full lead pouring and painting facility and can do virtually anything the customer requires.

Huntar: Personally, I tend to stay away from the Gamakatsu hooks. I found that the strength of these hooks were questionable, and often used to straighten out when I tried hooking a fish!! plus, I haven't had any that haven't rusted on me after using, therefore I end up having to replace them too often. Most others are ok. You could try www.fishermanshack.com for what you're looking for.
