I have voted by mail for years but my vote is verified by signature. If you miss something ( which I did once ) you are sent a form to correct it. Vote by mail yes but it has to be verified just as Grays Harbor does not just blindly counted.

I have also voted by mail for years. Signature required in Pierce County. The reason Trump and the GOP want to eliminate mail-in voting in obvious.

Unlike GH vote by mail is carefully done and wrong ballots not counted is great but from what I have read other places just count the ballot without voter or signature verification. That is not a good thing from my seat in the bleachers.
