Why? Who knows, possibly for a momentary distraction from the Epstein files. The stated objectives have included regime change - how's that working out? Iran named Komani's (sp) more hard core son the new Supreme Leader. What about no nuclear weapons for Iran? Wait, Trump obliterated Iran's nuclear capacity last June, according to Trump. Yet he just claimed that Iran was "weeks" away from having a nuclear weapon. Trump just can't seem to get his story straight.

And anybody who is qualified to know what they are talking about regarding nuclear capability - not Witkoff nor Kushner - knows that Iran is a long ways off from having the capacity to enrich uranium to weapons grade material. But what the heck does reality have to do with living in Trump-world? As president he has access to all these red buttons, and it's just irresistible to never push one or a few of them.

Last time I fished in the Sound was two summers ago. I know it's a good and fairly close by fishery, but it just must not be my thing. Fished the Cowlitz a week ago yesterday, but got skunked.

Of course they jacked it a few days ago but a bunch of fish showed when they did.

I invited Salmo out to salmon fish last summer in the sound, but he seemed like he always had something going on and didn’t make it out. He’s welcome to come again this summer. Maybe he’s more willing to admit he might be wrong about a lot of things when there isn’t as much of an audience.

Being wrong about some of what went down on Covid hardly passes as "frequently." Besides, there's still conflicting information about it, I'm not interested enough to research it myself, so I'm staying out of that fray.

Meanwhile, the war with Iran, masquerading as a special military operation. Sheesh, now Trump is borrowing phrases from his mentor, Putin. Hope ya'll are liking that $1.99 gas Trump was talking about, promising even during his campaign. Looks like Trump might be figuring out that he won the battle but is losing the war. I guess if you own a lot of oil stock, then Trump's still your boy.

There isn’t much conflicting information on it. There is what is/was true and what was made up. There was a gap between what is/was true with how you spoke on the topics. Many topics within Covid and you were wrong on pretty much all of them, so you actually were “frequently” wrong. You aren’t interested in researching it yourself because it will expose how incorrect your opinions actually were.

Meanwhile, we are at war with Iran, and you're still harping about my lack of information about covid. Iran just shot down two more US jets, despite having all their defensive capability "obliterated" according to your Lord & Master, Trump.

In 2015 Obama secured a "no nukes" deal with Iran. In 2018 Trump blew up that deal because he just can't stand anything that black president did. In June 2025, Trump and his buddy Netenyahu "obliterated" Iran's nuclear capabilities, according to Trump, but not according to US intelligence sources. Then on Feb. 28, 2026 Trump and Netenyahu began another bombing campaign against Iran, taking out the Ayatolah, only for him to be replaced as Ayatolah by his son. Trump just can't touch something without it turning to sh!t.

If Trump is lucky, and that's a damn big IF, he could end up with something that looks remarkably similar to Obama's "no nukes" deal, except it would be Trump's "no nukes" deal, therefore making it the best "no nukes" deal ever in the history of the world, worthy, no doubt, of a Nobel Peace prize. Trump just cannot stand to achieve something via diplomacy. No, he has to make deals by being the biggest baddest bully on the block, humiliating his apprentice with a public "You're fired!" label to assuage his fragile ego.

The war with Iran will cost the US untold $billions, or $trillions when all direct and indirect costs are accounted, while Trump and his buddies make millions and possibly trillions of $$ while costing Americans and people around the world huge cost increases for gas, groceries, and everything that trickles down through the economy. This is the cost to, maybe, just maybe, get back to where the world was under that "black guy's" no nukes deal. Or maybe not even get that close, but get WWIII instead, you remember, the war Trump said would result if Harris had been elected. All this, and more, for your self proclaimed "PEACE" president. Congratulations?

Iran has been holding back using up its hypersonic stockpile... they have used a few but they still have many left... I think its an indication of the war not even close to being over because the situation is just starting to turn where the defensive/interception stockpile of Israel is dwindling and a higher percentage of Irans missiles are getting through the iron dome...

We will see what happens when Trumps ultimatum is up... US Navy ships cant even get withing 600 miles of the gulf for fear of getting sunk by ship killer missiles.. I don't think there is any serious plan of a ground invasion because Iran is very fortified and hardened and it would take a huge deployment and heavy losses...

I think the US ends up leaving the middle east over this before a resolution leaving Israel to fend for itself... This war will likely expand to a regional conflict,, I could see it evolving to where Turkey gets involved against Israel as well in a Syrian Theater... Syria would like to take a chunk of Syria...

Trump has too much money invested, or provided, by the Middle East to leave it. Despite his belief that the US does not "need" the ME the rest of the world does. Unless the US builds a wall around itself and is totally self sustaining then we need the rest of the world. Maybe we don't nee ME oil, but we damn sure need what that oil produces in other places.
