There was a post a while ago about the 10 ft rods in the new catalog, did anyone try one yet?

Had one about 4-5 years ago, Fish Eagle II 10' med. action line # 8-15. Sent it back after the salmon season, it worked ok but was a little tip heavy. Sometimes wish I'd kept it,whould have made a good bobber & jig rod.

My nieghbor fishes on of the fish eagle 10' rods. He liks it for float fishing. Its a little tip heavy, but he fixed that by counter balancing the butt. He used a a butt cap that would slip over the cork. He stacked washers in the cap until he found a good balance. To hold the cap on he used black tape.

Purchased the fish eagle II 10'-0" in November. It is one of the best feeling bobber rods I have owned. It is IM6 and for the price It's great! Can fish six, seven hours and do not notice the tip being to heavy. I think you would be pleasantly suprised. Hope this helps.
