Ha Ha Know that I have your attention, Has anyone ever fished the Wind or Little White Salmon for Springers from a driftboat, And if so what are the driftable streches please, Planning on going to that area for spring break, If anyone else is gonna be down there let me know maybe we can hook-up and do a float or two.... Have plenty of room in the boat... Matt

The wind river and the little white salmon a.k.a. drano lake are like a lake fishery they both take place in the columbia or as in drano lakes case right off the columbia. The best thing to do is fish with a kicker motor if you can mount one on your drift boat. You can row if you want also. Be prepared to have to launch early because there are tons of boats. Have fun and fish on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fishing can be excellant from the bank also!

Your not going to want to row at wind or drano, because there will be to many boats there and I mean alot. IT will be like bumper to bumper trafic in seattle at rush hour. You will want to put a motor of some sort on it. Especially if the columbia river gorge wind kicks up, then its hard for motor boats too.
