I,m leaving monday at O-dark thirty for a week long trip to the coast.YEAAAAS !!!!!! This our annual fishing trip, we have a guide for tues and sat on the Duc. Usually we fish from the bank and are always wishing that I brought my boat. Well this time I'm taking it. Was wondering about a couple of floats? I've rowed the Snoq, Sky, Nooch, Kalama bamma, Lewis, and Cowlits and would like to add the Hoh and Bogy. I don't think I want to tackle the Duc.

Bogy: from the hatchery linedeckers
Hoh: from the Oxbow to JL shake or is the nolan creek take the same? And maybe from Morgans to the Oxbow but I'm not sure about the Bow?

I was looking for any advice on tough spots
and where exactly is Nolan creek or JL shake take out? Or any other run you might suggest?

Thanks for any Info and if you're a little squimish about letting out Info E-mail me.

Thanks guys

Ron Bob

Nothing to worry about in the Bog float other than scraping over some shallows.

On the Hoh, the lower float is by far the easier of the two. Nothing terribly gnarly up top, but especially in the low water, you're going to have to do some maneuvering to get through ... similar to Shuwah on the 'Duc.

G&L is about a mile below Nolan Creek ... there's a road with the very same name. If you opt to take out there, please note that the local homeowners do not like boats pounding on trailers early in the morning, so please, drive very slowly and be as quiet as possible. There is talk of closing the access down due to this problem. Good luck!
