I know that everyone is excited about springers right now, but eastern washington trout fishing should be heating up. Does anyone on this board head east for trout? Moses, Seeps, Potholes? We went last month to the Seeps and was a bit early and slow, but one of our group caught a 5# Rainbow. Beautiful color and a bit of a hook jaw.
Any recent reports,ideas, or comments would be appreciated.

RBF, went over about a month ago too. Fished @ corral lk. limits bolth days, nothing big. All bows 12"-15". Stayed @ mar-don what a crack-up! Paper thin walls and a pair of all nite humppers to our south, hav'nt laughed that hard in years.

Call me a lowly Oregon boy, but I hit the Deschutes this past weekend and it was OK fishing HORRIBLE wind!
One of the trout I caught was 16 inches or so, but the wind was incredible. I would lift my rod to set the hook and the line would blow right off the water.

THis is an ignorant question, but isn't the Deschutes the river that goes by Bend? I may have a chance to go to Bend in July and was wondering about the fishing opportunities.

Yes, it goes by Bend. Hit the fly shop there and they can hook you up. Good luck, and post a report!
