I laughed myself to tears in reading your short story. I love stuff like this. I'm an old fart and can take the serious fisherman along with the good time fisherman. Sure there is a bit of immaturity involved in having some fun with the bankies but sounds like you guys really enjoyed yourselves. I'm envious.......... smile laugh wink

It is good to see the Northwest still has a couple of guys who can tear it up with the best of 'em. To me, any fishing trip that does not involve some whorin', some drinkin', a lack of sleep, 5-6 cans of jib, a little good natured ribbing of the bankies and oh yeah, a few fish caught, is not worth telling. I don't know if you two are the coolest people on the river or not, but I would pay real money to spend the day on the Columbia with you while the fishing sophisticates preen themselves and discuss the finer points of being boring. I don't fish the Columbia, and expect you are full of sh__ when you say you caught THAT many fish, but you caught enough to get the bankies upset, and when you do that, that is well, just good fun.

Busted a gut, almost peed myself. You are beautiful, and way too cool. Some day we need to fish together, as I probably have never met anyone cooler than you guys. I love it.

Oh yeah, I saw you guys. Aren't you the one who hooked yourself in the a*s with a 2/0 Gatzugotme right after you pis*ed on yourself facing the wind? Of course that was before you anchor fouled the guys down river while chasing that trophy 20# stickfish. hah ha.. you sure was entertaining!

Good BS story though! laugh laugh wink
