Could anyone tell me if the Sol duc is in fishable shape? I'm going up there tonight and the USGS has no guaging station on the Duc.

I was over there on Monday for the steelhead finale and it looked good then. But I don't know what's happened since.

Flyfisher, Thanks for the response. I guess I need to spend a buck or two and call Bob @ Olympic Sports for a current condition. By the way, how did you do on Monday?

Craig, got skunked...for the season! It takes a lot of courage to admit it, sniff sniff. Naw, it was a blast, although the weather was awful. It blew out the Bogy, which I was planning on fishing--it's better for the bank walking fly flipper. Good luck chasing those springers.

Hey, I'm headed out to the Sol Duc tonight, bank fishing tomorrow, you guys have any tips?

I see it says it's at seven boards and five feet visibility, what colors/sizes would you recommend?

-Norm.
