Lindy makes a wide variety of floats for all types of fish of which Steelhead are a very important component. We designed our current line of Steelhead floats with the help of several Steelheaders around the country with the 1-1/8 inch diameter model being our largest float in that line. I do understand that many of you would like a larger diameter float. We are looking to make a larger size Turbo Master, which was specifically called for from some of our distributors in the NW. In addition, we offer the "Power Float" which will hold more weight and was designed specifically for fast water.

We will continue to take the thoughts of those on this forum to make new product introductions in the future. For those of you who would like to take a look at the other floats that we manufacture, please take a look at our website, www.lindylittlejoe.com and download our Thill float brochure. It includes a wide variety of floats, their application and how to fish with them. Our Gold Medal TurboMasters and River Masters are floats that many Steelheaders absolutely love for fishing fast streams and rivers.

I want to personally assure everyone that Lindy is manufacturing our floats with the same high quality now as we did when Mick Thill was affiliated with our company. Mick is currently off on other endeavors and we wish him well.

Thank you for all of your support of Lindy products.

Best Regards,

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Ted,

Thanks for the info. To me, a larger Turbomaster would be a dream come true. One large enough to float a 1/4 oz jig would be great. Love your floats.....keep up the good work.

Dan,

I had the same problems with the turbomasters and 1/4 oz jigs till I gave it a try without any shot or extra weight between the float and jig. Works well with light lines (10#). Can't wait for summer runs! And I really think getting rid of that extra shot makes a difference when presenting in low clear conditions.

But yes, having a turbo that will handle a 1/4 oz jig with a shot or two would be very nice for heavywater nate fishing.

BTW - I am in now way affiliated with Lindy.

Bruce
