Fished above the Ponds, fished below by the gravel pit. Only thing I caught was a lost dog (who was safely returned home). Heard of a few being caught, but isn't that always the case....No shortage of people out trying. Give it a few weeks - too many people.

Fishing above the ponds. Would you recommend drift gear or float/jig?

I'd fish a float/jig combo in the upper river. You might try pink, pink/white or purple/pink combos.
