I just got off of the phone with a co-worker of mine who also owns a campground up in Sekiu. She says that the king fishery will be closed down as of midnight, Monday July 9th. That means a 25 mile run for kings when launching from there. The fisheries folks just informed her around noon today.

There have been a lot of nice silvers caught this early in the season, up to 12 pounds. Some pinks are showing up as well, but their numbers are not near that of the silvers.
