I got a chance to go out in my friends dory boat at Pacific City on sunday. Put the boat in at 6:00am and had the lines in the water at 6:15. Five minutes later we had fish-on. we limited out by 7:00am. What a morning to remember! The CB channel we were on had other boats talking about bagging their limits in about the same amount of time. Deep six divers, dodgers, and a lime green hoochie skirt with a chunk of herring was all it took. Once we found a rip and the skum line we were into fish. Now I hear they're talking about closing it down. What a bummer just when it's going good. With those indications the Clackamas run of silvers should be a dandy........Later, Fishhead Vic
