fished the ponds on the 29th and more and more river dorks seem to appear every year, people on the river are discarding there unwanted balls of line everywhere!! theres some shrimp cartons left behind and trash floating down the river. But getting to the point, there are people fishing the ponds who don't have any respect for others, today I saw this weasel who would not move for this guy playing his fish. The guy playing the fish told the guy he had a fish and the weasel looked at the guy and said SO! and casted over his line and yanked his fish off and didn't think anything else about it. This so called fisherman knew what he had to do he knew how to fish in crowd but he ruined this guys day!!!

I stumbled upon reiter when i was just starting out summer run fishing. Most guys were very polite and some went as far as giving me some of their gear that was obviously out fishing my size 3 vibrex. Ive never learned so much about steelhead in that one summer. I never fish it like i used to because of the crowds but i also never forgot what it taught me.

Dont complain about reiter, you know what to expect during peak times and there are miles upon miles of productive water above and below the ponds...

go fish
