I guess I've never really got out and trolled for these fishing in the mid to upper columbia, I was wondering what the hot ticket is and the hot colors are?? Like to mouth of the lewis and the mouth of the cowlitz???

We did really fairly last year at the mouth of the Washougal, trolling red wiggle warts. This was in mid October.

Fished the mouth of the Cowlitz last weekend and picked up a few steelhead, 5 to be exact, and 1 Chinook was caught, no silvers yet though. We always use Brass Blade/Orange body #4 or #5 Vibrax spinners and a 3oz weight off a spreader. That has always worked best for our group of fishers.
