:pOoops, that was supposed to be Plunking! But now that i've got your attention ... :p

Was down on the Kalama Bar last weekend where things were much quieter than they had been. Heard it was going gangbusters until Saturday morning. Figures, should have been there yesterday.

Also made it out to County Line Park. Stop by and say Hello if you are in the area. We might (might!) have some extra beer.

Heading down again this weekend and would appreciate any reports. Tips about "hot colors" , or any info you would like to share.

Tides this weekend?

Anybody know what time Bob's in Longview closes?

GutZ

Bobs closes at 7 on weekdays, and 9 on Fri,sat, sun.I complain to Brad or whoever else will listen every time I go in there.& is to early for a week day.
Most of my sporting goods are bought there, whether hunting or fishing.I work in Portland but drive right by Fishermans and G.I.Joes.Their prices are too high.
Low tide at county line is about 4a.m & 3:30p.m.sat High tide is about 10a.m. and 9:30 p.m add about 2 hrs for Kalama.Add 1 hour for Sunday.
I hear watermelon or red tigerstripe have been pretty consistent producers.
Good luck

Hey GutZ long time no see. Will you be bringing power gutz? The Lewis has been good to me. Maybe we could do a drift. Give me a call. You know me plunking colors have always been dark.

I was down there a few days ago and one of those "pro fisherman" (you know, the kind of guy that thinks he knows everything about everything and brags way too much rolleyes ) was fishing down to the right of the RV's. He claimed he'd caught around 20 hatchery fish so far this summer on that red tigerstripe spin-n-glow HntnFsh suggested. He was also using sand shrimp with that spin-n-glow. He put two on the beach that day. One wild and one hatchery, if I remember right.

Oh yeah and I also heard the Kalama bar has been red hot off and on for the last few weeks, but it just shut off on Saturday, huh? That sucks. It's always the same story, you should have been here yesterday. Course then if you were there yesterday, and the fishing was spotty to say the least, you know somebody's lyin'. eek :p
