Im headed down there next weekend and would like to know if any thing is going on down there yet or is it still two earily.

Any one have info on charter boats out of Illwaco. Intrested in going out. Any info would be appriciated

I don't know about the Jetty fishing, although I heard about a week and a half ago that there were a few silvers being caught daily down there. Good luck on finding a charter that still has openings. Most, if not all of them are booked solid for this years whole season.

My family and I went out on a charter last wed. Boat was back in by noon. We brought home 8 nice salmon. We went with coho charters. I sure you can get out with a few days notice. Give them a call. It runs about $70.00.

There are really still openings left? Coho charters have the older black and orange boats, don't they? If they do, I went out last year with them. I don't have very good things to say about them.

when you go out on a charter and pay 70 dollars and not even garenteed a fish, if you do catch fish do they let you keep the roe from the fish or do they take it and sell it. If so it is not worth 70 buck for two salmon. When I can wait a month a catch them out of my back yard for practialy nothing.

I don't think they allow you to keep the eggs. The folks that actually caught fish on the boat I was on got their fish stripped of the eggs as soon as we stopped fishing. Of course they were a ritzy bunch of old businessmen who didn't need the eggs. We asked them if we could have the eggs and they said sure, but the charter folks said no to that.
