Anyone know whats going on over there???
Never fished it before, might head over there next weekend. Any good spots to go for a bank maggot?
Don't mind the combat fishing if there's fish. Home river is the carbon and spent the last 2 days on the Quilcene. If nothing else it can get interesting. laugh

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

If you've seen the Quil. amd the Carbon, then you'll know what to expect at the Skok. There's actually quite a bit of bank access on the lower end, but once the water drops low again, there will only be a few holes with fish residing in them. Keep in mind that tribal members will toss you off the north side of the river if they don't like the looks of you. I would expect that the color is pretty good now, it was still pretty filthy Friday AM.

I haven't been out there yet this year, as like you, I opted for the Quilcene instead. Might have to give it a look, though. Good luck.

I haven't fished the Skok since the big rain we had last week. When I did last fish it, it was full of fish. There's quite a bit of bank access, especially down by the bridge. The Indians can and will kickk you off of the Noeth side of the river... However, as long as you're below the High water mark, you can tell them to go [Bleeeeep!] themselves... They get pretty mad when you tell them that. Read some of the other posts on this board about the Skokomish fishery before you go.
Good Luck.
