Is there any worthwhile bank access at the mouth of the Toutle on the Cowlitz? Any nasty crowds or snagging going on there?

Thanks.

Todd.

This has been a real disapointment mad When fish are more then 2 weeks late...you know the rest of the story!

OK, so is there anyone who has actually been up on th Toutle in the last few days? My guess is that the fish are in there thick by now.. everyone was limiting at th mouth of the Green last year at this time.

Was there last sunday, no coho yet just a few kings flopping around. The river is very low, once we get a good rain the fish will come up.

From what I remember,it was about a week later than this last year when they started showing up in any numbers.I think they will be there but it may take awhile with the river in the shape its in.Lets keep our fingers crossed.I think we can blame all this great weather we've had for the late showings last year and this year.

One more thing, whoever told you they are stacked up at the mouth is full of it.Unless they are talking chinook,of which there are a few.Or the mouth of the Columbia or something. And yes you can walk infrom the old hiway, and there are lots of snaggers.

Fished the Toutle Thursday below the Green. Limbered up on a big king, but did not see a coho all day. Lots of fishermen looking and trying.

I went to the Toutle yesterday, fished at the mouth and up higher. There are a few silvers in there and most of them were on the dark side compared to last year. Definitely not worth the trip unless it is in your back yard. We need some rain bad.
