I'm new to the area and happen to live near the snoqualmie. I was wondering what the salmon fishing was like. Based on the regs, it looks like a "Selective Fishery" and all chinook and pinks have to be released. So I guess that leaves Silvers (and chums?). Have any of you had any experience fishing for silvers on this river and do you have any suggestions for locations and techniques?

Also, how long do the summer steelies hang out in this river? I've caught a few on my way to work and would like to know when I should switch over from the steel to the silver...

Don't know about the salmon, but we were catching summer steelies through December last year.
