All Righty!! I am looking forward to the 27th [Satsopo/Chehallis rivers] ... I would appreciate the beginning of a head count probably be easiest if everyone would email me:

OH.....and what is this about cleaning fish?? I haven't had anybody clean a fish for me in years and years...I will really enjoy that part!

RT...could you also please email me the "rewards" so that I know. I am going to throw another one in the pot. I will put an Okuma Epix 30 on the line for the best story of the worst cast of the day.

my email address is:

runwildrivers@yahoo.com

Thanks guys and gals!!

Like I had mentioned on PP the other BB we will be donating 5 bottles of the Ultimate Egg Cure which should be ready for the market by the end of the month, a lot later than expected, some issues with legality on labeling.

Anyhow I'm fighting hard to free the 27th, to come out and clean a limit of hens. (let me tell you sales sucks) - [and let me tell you Keith, if ya don't get it off and bring your *** up there we will boycott ****** Motors and also call you a sissy! laugh rt] ... RT, we might not get the biggest fish but we'll have the largest bag of eggs at the end of the day! [only because they will bring so many with them in the first place wink - rt] Which would you rather have??? If we do keep a buck we'll be so kind to let you clean that!

Thanks Jim.

I will move your post above to a new F III headcount thread - here and on Piscatorial. Then guys from both places can e-mail participation confirmation and prize pledges to you (riversrunwild@yahoo.com), for pre-event planning and post info. Guys without rides and with extra boat seats should e-mail you too for matching up? I will donate a $25 STS products gift certificate. I think WW is doing the same for their tackle shop? Keith's cure is worth winning! Perhaps you should check into the possible need for the $25 WDFW derby permit? Also by early that week, give us suggestions for a beer and pizza place to meet after the Hwy. 12 boat ramp lot 'fish hoist and pic' get together.

Our team will need to switch to my sled due to a recent backside injury that will keep me from taking turns rowing a 3-man team driftboat. It will also allow us to use that as an excuse in the extreme outside chance that we don't come in with the most and heaviest fish totals. laugh Our team is Stew (STEWED), Troy (Spooled), Bernie (C&E), and me (RT).

Let's get some good teams confirming to Jim! Yeehaaw on the 27th on the Satsop/Chehallis!

Jim has 18 e-mailed participants so far by early this morning, and counting. Let's also post here who's coming to the river party. That way we know who has the courage to show up, and would make it harder to chicken out. laugh ... Nah, this should be can't miss fun!

Hey Aunty, you aren't just gonna cheer are ya? Get a team and enter the fun. Would like to meet you and your husband at the "Slaughter On The Water" on the Satsop/Chehallis the 27th. smile It's right in your area, eh? ... If not, then go ahead and bring your pom poms and cheer for team V - for victory - that would be our Orygone team. laugh

Count me and a fishing buddy in, I will be fishing the Fraser river the weekend before, so I should be in tune with the river thing.....been fishing too much salt (Westport) lately. Let us know meeting times, etc, and also it would be great if we all had some kind of ID ( sticker, flag ????) to let us all know our competition and to give a quick hello.

I'll unofficially put myself in the float. As of right now it all depends on a sitter for my kids and the like.

If I do go, will have at least myself and my girlfriend in my new cat. Maybe 1-2 more people in my cat.

Hopefully all this rain we're getting will put the rivers up. I floated a couple of the local rivers this past weekend and barely made it through with my cat, couldn't imagine you poor guys in DB's trying to go through. I should be WELL tuned up for the float. I'm on my fishing vacation next week so will be fishing 24/7 for the whole week. smile

I should be there. I believe that Headhunter and I will be heading out, but if not, I'll head up the bank contingent, or I may head to the Chehalis in my little boat.

I'll bring my filet knives so I can show somefolks how to filet a fish the right way, not like those boneheads I saw up at Sekiu this year that left half the meat on the carcass.

I look forward to meeting many of you, as well.

Andy

Gooose is planning on being there ...probably Team Banktilliban. Blood and scales on the rocks! Will the rules allow us to fish the Chehalis upstream from the mouth of the Nooche? Then it may be Team Smoke on the Water. Blood and scales on my smokercraft! Looking to recruit members for either. Boat team members may be required to take a vow of forever silence on my choice of trolling gear.

Beavs done...Ducks and Fuskies beware. I'll be bringing up the rear (in traditional Coug fashion)testing the advertised carrying capacity of my Watermaster (let's see, a Foster's oilcan weighs about 2lbs...yeah I've got an extra 50 lbs. to spare granted I lay off the twinkies till the 27th). Anyhow, I'll be the dork with the spey rod and jigs. I've had to come up with something unconventional to fish with so RT has something to ponder besides his BVD's riding up his lower back.
