FYI - I'm on my home computer and this is my other alias. I'm usually logged in as 'chadk'.

We just had our second son at 9pm tonight. So how long do I need to wait until I can take him fishing??

It'll be a few days before I can get out on the water again, but that may be right in time for the rivers to drop back into shape.

-Chad

Child birth is a very special thing, congratulation. Hope his health is great. Remember when there young they need to catch fish, doesn't matter what type of fish just need to catch. Then when they get older you teach them fishiing, because catching is secondary. laugh

Thanks all for your kind words and advice!

I started my 4 weeks of paternity leave last Monday, so I have 3 weeks left now. On one or 2 days of this time, we'll have a friend come over and help out while I go play. My wife gave me 2 half day fishing passes for my b-day on the 9th (all I asked for smile

Yes - I said 4 weeks of paternitiy leave. Feels kinda weird, but that's the rule at work, and I'm not going to complain!!!

Besides my 'kitchen passes', I'll probably hit the snoqualmie by my house a few times with my 21 mo old. I can usually get in 20 to 40 min of bank fishing with him. Usually... He is already addicted to fish. He loves going to the issaquah hatchery and is always checking in my cooler to see if I got any new fish. He also insists on wathing 'fishing' shows on TV and already has a little mickey mouse rod/reel that he lugs around the house and practices his casting motions. My wife thinks it's genetic...
