I need to go fishing but looks like all the rivers within a 2 hour drive of Seattle are blown. Any suggestions about rivers that might be fishable tomorrow?

Thanks in advance

Probably out of your range but I had an excellent 1/2 day on the Elochoman today. Hooked 9 silvers from 10-15 lbs All bright all on spinners the 3 I landed were all hatchery.. Look for some smaller streams with short drainages

Relax Krome by the time anyone actually decides there might be something to this they will go and find that it's all over.

Hey Spoonman, Any time the rivers are running high and muddy, and you just got to go fishin', thereare only three things you can do. 1. Smaller streams with short drainages, as Robert noted, like the Sultan or Raging rivers. 2. Hit the higher elevations, get away from the valley floor and you'll get out of the muddy run-off. 3. If you must fish the lower river look for wide shallow areas so that you can fish the edges, because any fish available will be trying to avoid the mud and silt too. Good fishin' smile

Ah, I didn't mean to piss ya off, 'Sparkster'. I hope there's no hard feelings. I was just giving a couple guys a hard time. All in fun. Oh, I know why you're mad at me. It's because of my post about ya in another post. I was kiddin' there, too. I'm just a funny guy, ya know. Sorry if I offended anyone. I'll edit my posts. Oh btw, I'm NOT a b**** or whatever you called me. laugh

Last time I fished the Elochoman it wasn't much of a secret. Looked like a mini Cowlitz. eek

Where do you guys get the rain reports for the Quilayute airport?

Friend of mine floated the Sol Duc today, he said it rained hard all day out there. Bummer, I'm supposed to go on a guided trip on Sunday.

What ya heading out for some early winter runs RichG?? I know there are some streams up in your area that have them showing up now, but obviously not in large #'s. I think I've got a good idea where your heading but won't say here as it's not my business to tell everyone about them zipperlip fisheries. Certainly something to get out and explore for!! laugh
