In the Puff the Magic Dragon thread, Fishbait (NW Steelheader's official Steve Salveson; a prominent member of both BBs) mentioned a major migration happening; it's toward here. I've heard the same thing via numerous phone calls and e-mails. This is in reaction to a gargantuan set of very restrictive new rules just put on members remaining at ifish. It's pages long!

I was given no choice - I was banned by the owner from ifish today (10/27). This was for telling the truth in plaintive posts about selective unfairness there, despite all the contributions I've made there for so long. It's also likely in reaction to the words in my version of Puff the Magic Dragon of "is it time to move along".

Anyway, welcome fishing refugees fleeing to "fun and informative BB fishing in AMERICA". This site was essentially changed to a NW regional fishing discussion board by Bob a few months ago. Let the 'boat talk' go on.

i know i will be missed at i-fish , i think it was being over moderated, if what you thought didnt agree with a moderator you were a bad bad boy. if in fact it is a family board, how come one of the moderators started a thread about getting a ticket for drinking booze, it didnt make sense and at the same time if you wanted to joke around it was wrong. whats worse, a little humour or a drunk.

So, I relax by reading a few fish tales when I finally get home. I dont get wrapped up in "As the Stomach Churns" soap operas. I'm an internet/newsgroup vet. And "sometimes" hang out in "rough" online areas But to have a "blanket threat" for anyone NOT in lockstep....
Not a bash...but why in the &(*^ would anyone accept being THREATENED with legal action for harmless recreation??? Jesus Christ...I have been running XP for over 2 months...if I got my ass in a sling for THAT, hey...I'm a Bigboy and would take my lumps. But to suffer legal action because I posted something about FISHING that someone didn't ****ING LIKE, sorry!! Stick a fork in me..I'm DONE!! I just received an email from that site...and went there and read the post...was gonna reply, but decided to cool off for a minute. Then I read this Steve...you are right on base!!! Theres two sides to every argument right? People over there never got to hear mine or Steves side. Hey I'm a reasonable and hopefully somewhat likable guy why am I suddenly evil personified? Extra monikers? Yeah I had a few but I never used them to harass or threaten anyone or sidetrack someones career like happened over there. So if people over there want to think I'm a jerk then let them but there are many who know the "Reel Truth". I asked to be deleted fron ifish!
