My wife finaly cought her fist salmon Saturday!!!!!!!!!
And she had a blast. Claims she is really hooked now. Lets see, I could use a couple new rods,and reels, maybe a new boat.

I'll never forget my wifes first chinook - " I think there's something stuck on here" she says as she's jerking back violently on the rod.

She immediately became more interested in fishing, understands why I spend money on fishing and boating gear, and has become a better netter than some of my friends.

Now if I could just get her to go with me when it's 40 degrees and raining.......
