Since I do a lot of bank fishing on the Wilson I was looking for a reasonable way to transport fish home after a day on the river. I was at the local Target and found a large plastic storage box that is ideal for this. It is 41" inches long by about 24" inches wide and at least 12" inches deep. more than big enough to transport several decent size fish. Add some ice and you've got a nice fish transport box. It is very sturdy and was only $15.

Stew-
I went to Safeway and picked up a styrofoam cooler for only $10. It fits perfectly between the back of my backseat and the hatch in my Explorer.

I love it because after I throw a fish or two in there, I stop by the gas station, grab a bag of ice and throw it in there. Even after 5 hours drives the ice is still frozen and the fish is still very cold. I dont know what I did without one. confused

The one I recently got could hold 3 or 4 average sized steelhead, but maybe only 1 big chinook; 2 smaller 'nooks. Cheap and works well for bank fishing. I keep boat caught fifsh in the boat box and add ice on the way home.
