Hey Bill, don't sell him any! Sell them to your 'zine brethern (sp?). Then I can make him bark like a dog at the Nov. 10th Clack tackle swap meet for them.

Sorry guys, Bill's all out of them. Talked to him just after he had posted them for sale and he was out back then. You're a day late and a dollar short. But guess what guys???????? I ran into a store that had tons of them (in a variety of colors). I have well over 2500 okies now including the ones I had before the big buyout of a tacklestore. Have about 50-100 pink nailpolish ones. Hmmmmmmm, I wonder how much I can get for them???? Jerry PS, I'M NOT SELLING ANY!!!!!! hehehehe :p

Say, you know whut...Uncle Willy was diggin' throo his shiznit in the gay-rage and guess whut I finded!! There in an old Shimano 201 box is about 50 nail polish Okies! I would be glad to sell them to a fellow angler that really appreciates the finer things!
Don't worry...I still gots lots fo' me.
By the way, has anyone been fishing the Hood Canal Bridge for those awesome chrome chums? I've seen many cars there lately coming home from the Pen and I would imagine the good action is happening.
Be well, Bill.

Looks like any color is valuable eh? Better beg Stew or take out a second. LOL. Q. - "I would like to know if they still make a lure called the Oakey drifter, and if they do can you tell me where to find them. If they did quit making them, why?" Matt - Oregon A. -Luhr Jensen discontinued the Okie Drifter from our product line several years ago and has since sold off all inventory. Although we had problems sourcing the parts, the biggest reason we discontinued the product was because of a lack of sales volumne. Sales had dwindled until they just wouldn't support the continued investment in this product. We, and especially me, loved the Okie Drifter and its long reputation as a steelhead and salmon lure. As you may know the market for this, and other like items, has increased in recent years. However, as yet Luhr Jensen has made no decission to re-invest in its production and marketing. Buzz Ramsey

Not sure of the name of the store, but the tackle shop on Hwy 106 , on the way to Hoodsport in Belfair has many Okies in Various colors and sizes. Last time I was there was in September, and picked up 50 or so. I know he still has many left. He has a Plug size of a mailbox on the street pointing to his shop.

I know of a place where the oakies flow like wine and there seems to be a plethora. Not saying where because that would be stealin' mee lucky charms. There are places out there that have them. Just look for the mom and pop places, or yard sales.
Thanks Osprey! You weren't kidding; it really is easy to pick up women at a yard sale. Thanks dude!
