I'm thinking about heading to the Ronde next weekend, and was wondering if anyone knows if the fish are in the canyon yet.

Was your friend in the canyon? I'll be fly fishing it in a week, and going to fish the canyon. Do you know of any regular reports on the web?

It should be good. I talked to Ferral who owns Boggans Oasis on the river and she said that a flyfisherman got 15 one day but then the next day he got 2. The guides that travel over there are done, I think. I know that some are still there but you should get in to some fish if you know semi what your doing. Good luck. You can call Bogans Oasis at 509-256-3372. hope that helps.

I was there Oct 16-18. Visability was 2 ft. Fly fishers were having a tough time. My friends did very well the day after I left. Post your results. I'm curious about the air and water temp in November for next year.

Sorry for the late response. I was out of town.
He fished it for few days. They had good luck in the canyon as well as the lower section. I don't know about any web reports. Do they have computers in that part of the state? Just kidding. Sep-Nov is generally good. Not too cold and not much headache driving. It is a LONG drive!
