Here is a nice girl that I caught a few weeks ago, (mid Oct) in Trask tidewater. Typical of alot of the fall fish we catch in tidewter. Can you say bobber down.........

OK........OK........ Here is a better picture. 2 nice fish, caught about Oct 20, again bobberfishing in Tidewater.

I love rowing the lower Wilson River near Tillamook in mid-Nov., when both mint bright big 'nooks are still coming in and early steelhead are arriving. These pics are at the Sollie bridge ramp. The angle of light has much to do with how bright fish look in pics. The upper one is sunlight and the lower one with camera flash.

Let's make this a vote for contest? As mint bright as Gregor, 'Bait, and Dave's fish are I would vote Justin's fish so far. Of course Keith is settin us up for batting cleanup with his top pics - no fair. Get your 'B' pics up first 'K', then we can all come in with our 'A' pics.

And what can I say for your nash feesh Troy? Oh, I know - next time you catch a bright fish, if you can remember that far from now, don't scrape all the scales off the back and lateral line before you pose with it, so it will look more like Dave's fish pic.

Consolation prize for biggest salmon steak? This 1 1/2" thick piece from a big Kenai King was about 6 lbs. That's a lot of steak.
