Because the 3 pages of pictures are now downloading so slow in the
'Brightest fish pics...' thread, I'm putting up a Part II fish pic thread to
continue Keith's good idea. Fish pics are great to look at, and the scenery to
in some of them. (Thanks Keith)

If you use your scanner or picture host features to cut down larger full size photos
to less than 640 pixels in width or height they will fit without causing the scroll
feature to kick in, which makes it harder to read posts and see the whole picture.
It will also reduce the download time. Maybe Bob and/or Parker, or other pic techies,
can suggest additional ways to reduce the size of the larger photos. Thanks

RT

Edited to fit in without having to use the scroll, caused by full size pics.
Downsizing pics rocks!

Okay by request, I'll put up a few more pix ... even grabbed a few old ones!

A pretty fish from the Calawah, 1995:

A brat summer-run on opening day on the Hoh circa 1992:

Not the best pic, but a gorgeous fish from the Kenai in 2000 doing a little play fishing on the bait opener:

Fishgal with a pretty hen from the Queets, 1999:

Certainly not a monster, but a cutie nonetheless ... from the 'Duc in 1994 or 95:

A spring chinook from the Sol Duc, 1994 ... didn't get that tan in Forks, had just gotten back from skiing in Utah for a week \:\)

Make sure to check out our ugly's on the other thread!

More beauties! Thanks guys, really love fish and scenery pics. ... Bob, you mentioned
looking thru old stuff. For me that takes it back a little further, so I went thru
some boxes and found an old STS issue with a chromer on the cover. It's the
Annual Steelhead Issue in Jan.'86. [Edit: btw, our website owner/guide here Bob Ball,
and member Joe Superfly, are going to be featured in my STS column for the
upcoming Dec./Jan. annual steelhead issue, out in a few weeks] ....

Jan. 1986 STS

.... and I found one of my ads on the guide list page (sure brings back the memories)

Here is my friend Jeff Whitehead (Jeffhead moniker) with a chrome blackmouth
chinook when we fished Puget Sound. He is very knowledgable about this fishery if
you have any Q's about it.

A few peolple with their first Steelhead.

Oregon Fish Chaser (Aaron). He hooked 3 that day. Lost one at the net (my fault).

A co-worker with his first Steelhead. 18.5lbs

Snoop Doggy Dog goes fishing. My youngest son with his first Steelhead. Didn't like Steelhead fishing, he said it is too slow. He only hooked 3 his first day.

Not my first, but I wanted to be in a picture. \:\)

This is my oldest daughter Andrea with her 1st & 2nd Steelhead:

And here she is with her sixth ever steelhead:

...and one of my second daughter Hope with her 1st
and 2nd Spring Chinook.

David adds:

Damn, those girls kick my weenie fishing butt.

Thanks again Dave for posting those for me.
I am playing catch-up reading all these threads after having the last week off for fishing. I haven't see a-lot of photos of kids so far on these threads so I thought these would add a twist. There are some great photos so far!
At the request of my daughter Andrea, she wanted me to let everyone know that the middle photo above is her sixth (6th) fish she plunked off the bar. She wants me to emphasize that it actually weighed more than 6lbs - she said it was 12lbs. Both her and Hope love fishing.
Thanks,
x

Nice fish pics with the kids Extreme. I would like to have a print of Andrea with her
1st and 2nd steelhead on the plunking beach for my book. If you are OK with that send
me an e-mail and I'll send you my street address.
Thanks.

Some nice fish from the Kenai:

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder KB. In fact, the same "Hell's Canyon" shot was posted
in the panarama thread, with all the other nice panaramas! Now by Rick here. .... Aaaaaaawwck!
Thanks to fishbait for Ccing that party pic to who knows how many people.
Your turn will come! Stew and fishbait (Steve S.) were dancing up on the tables with
their shirts off at this Kilchis canyon fishers party at ifish headquarters.
How about a pic of that? ;\) Truth be known, there was just too big of line at the bathroom
to wait any longer.
