Fished the lower Sky yesterday and banged 3 steelhead, all within 10 min of each other. The catch, ALL THREE NATIVES, with one winter run, all in the 6-9lb range!!! Totally surprised us as we were fishing for silver/chums.
Besides the weekly Buzz Bomb convention @ the Wallace........Anyone else do any good on the Sky yesterday/today???

Was on the upper Sky saturday, water was low and gin clear. Went to one of my favorite "get away form the crowd " areas, didn't hit any myself, but did help the one other guy fishing there land a coho. He thought it was a steelhead at first. Caught it on a corky/shrimp combo. About 1/2 hour later he got another one after switching to a spoon, a much bigger coho, which again he thought was a steelhead! this one was a long distance C&R though. Hope we get enough rain to put some color back in the water soon!

I fished the Sky Yesterday (Sat.) and took my 9 year old step-son, he landed his first Chum Salmon, a 15 pounder in real nice shape, that was a fantastic fight for him with his ten foot float rod, and ten pound line, he landed it, we took a picture and then released it, and about two hours later he hooked up a late summer steelhead in the upper portion of the Sky, three jumps, and one nice run, and it came unbuttoned, he didnt get a hookset at all, he was just in shock that his float went under. he was a pretty proud young man to say the least. and he tied the jigs himself that hooked both fish.

Fuzzy my 10 year old caught 5 Chums last Sunday on your jigs. I would like to thank you for those jigs. I will e-mail a picture when they get developed.
