Any idea how long those rivers take to come back to shape? I'm looking to try them out this weekend and am wondering how long they usually take to be fishable. Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

If it stops rainin now.The satsop from decker to turnow should be fishable in a couple days.Below turnow I would say 3-4 days. The Nooch will be back in in 2 days or so.If its on the drop and not pure mud don't be affraid to fish either now.TM laugh

At mid-night Thursday, the lower Satsop was running at a whopping 13,700 cfs (cubic feet per second) and at a 31.13 ft. level!!!!! Flood stage I assume?

Anyone for a Floatilla Saturday? eek Maybe Keith can organize an F III on the Lewis for steelhead in the near future?

Hey thanks for the insight guys. I think I'll float the lower Cowlitz this weekend instead. Thanks for the prompt replies and happy fishing.

P.S. Rich, a little rain storm never hurt anybody, right?

Rich, I'm with you all the way. Just love those guys that drive up and give me that eye rolling glance and leave. I like to fish a very small S river in late Jan. thru Feb. and pray for high flows. Off color doesn't matter to me on this particular river, hell if the fish can't see my rig then how the heck are they navigating upriver. While drifting Corkies and yarn under those conditions I like to utilize something logical that my partner picked up from styxriver. While driving in fog, which vehicle stands out the most? The dark car with the yellow fog lights right? Sounds like purple corky eek with chartruse yarn wink
to me.

FJ out.
