I thought the storm was over but I gues not. Raining real hard out here now gues the rivers are gonna blow out even more. Dosent look like we will ever get back on the water.

Rich, someone posted ealier this evening that the Hoh R. was running at 21,600 cfs (cubic feet per second)!!! It's hard to imagine that much flowing out of a coastal canyon watershed, even with this amount of rain. Any more and maybe it will break thru into another nearby canyon and make a new river to fish.

The Hoh is on the drop now running at about 12,900. Then rain has quit too. Ive been fishin the last two days in this crap on choclate rivers. I know a few spots that are productive in blown conditions but today there was just too much water. Yesterday it was puked too but I still hooked six fish. Going out in the morning to hit it agian if it has dropped a little the steelies will be there. Ive got my fly rod with me right now. Im at work but was thinking of doing a little night fishing in marina under the lights. It get stacked with fish when the river blows. Might not be a good idea though as sombody might see.

Is the water clear enough to see um? Or are they jumpers?
I think the marina is considered salt chuck so the fish would have to be released?? Stampede of float fishermen in the marina this weekend.

I was just kidding, you cant fish in the Marina its not open. Dont think its considdered part of the salt chuck though as its up the river.
