Some have already got the Annual Steelhead Issue of STS early in the mail. Thanks Bob and Joe for your input pieces for my Reel Truth column. ...

However, I re-read it and cringed a bit at my poor joke attempt about clearing other boats off the river. My appologies to anyone that took exception to that. I won't try that type of jesting again. rolleyes Maybe I will stick to emu adventures or something. NOT. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the rest of the column - and of course the always popular winter issue.

Got it and read it all last night. I wouldn't worry about it RT, most of those that know you know you were joking. Others that don't understand the humor will understand it in the future when they get to read more of your articles, your funny man, keep it that way. That's another reason Herzogs articles are so fun to read he's always got goofy stuff in there. Like in his article about the 10 best rivers for the 30+ pounder, when he's talking about the pig he lost on the babine. "and then he jumped and the force of re-entry like a cow booted out of an airplane." That's some funny stuff..

The images it brings to mind, it's worth it...

Bringing this back toward the top in conjunction with Cracker's thread called "RT - dump out a few gallons of oil based paint". I probably deserved his critical post. As with most things in life, novice columnists learn by their mistakes - as will I.
