I registered my e-mail at Yahoo this evening. My new e-mail address is reeltruth1@yahoo.com

After I get another ISP server I will also have an address there. But I think I may keep the yahoo addy as my main one.

How has it worked out for you people that have used it? ... Thanks

Might want to consider an email forwarding service like Mail.com . You can either use it as web mail and check it from any computer with Internet access, or you can do mail forwarding where any mail sent to your mail.com address automatically gets forwarded to the email address of your choice. This way if you change ISP's you won't have to send out the bulk emails to your friends and family. All you need to do is change the destination addie in your mail forwarding.

It's free, and worth it IMHO.

Hi RT,
I have had my Yahoo and Hotmail accounts for years now and Like it alot. Not only can I access my accounts from any computer but they are free. I wouldn't put any information that was important on them, but that's why we also have the main account. As someone else said, you still need another account for other things like sign ups and even Ebay or stuff like that. Have fun with it.

Hi Pitch,

I am going to sign on with Earthlink; as soon as today or tomorrow. Among the bigger ISPs it's rated right up near the top in Consumer Reports magazine. Not suprising was the poor ratings for AOL and MSN. Mark has had Earthlink for a long time and had no problems; and it's dialup is quicker than the others.

Of course it's not as fast as AT&T cable. But I grew tired of paying $45/mo. for a toublesome situation. My new neighborhood (with Verizon) doesn't carry DSL yet.
