Water has been low and clear. Pressure has been incredible - boats and bankies like i've never seen. Understandable because the fishing has been pretty hot - but I think slowing down (maybe some fresh rain is needed).

I hit the river for an hour on Monday - just trying to find a spot less crowded. Finally found a run that a drift boat was working on the other side (but no bankies). I came in and worked behind him tossing a chrome spoon. About 10 minutes later I had nailed a nice 8lb hatchery buck - what a chromer! He became Christmas dinner (along with our ham).

Didn't fish Christmas day.

Today (Wed), I fished another new spot to avoid the crowds. I put on a plug and within 20 minutes I had a 5 to 6lb hatchery buck on (he nailed it while I was checking my watch). I let him go (he was a little dark - possibly a summer run?). Then I went to work. Nice way to start the week!

How's the Sky been fishing??

I hit the Snoqualmie at Tokul Creek. Pressure wasn't too bad. I hooked two and landed one, a 6 pound hen on a float and jig. My dad caught a 9 pound hen drifting a birdie. Saw plenty of fish caught.

Was up on the Sky today for an hour, seemed pretty slow, no boats or bankies with fish that we saw. Picked up a 6# hen (chrome), one of the few apparently caught. Good luck

No i wasn't there xmas morning. Parents wouldn't let me out of the house. I only fish the Snoqualmie river about twice a year because I've got another year till I can drive and it's about a 45 minute drive. Plus I'm the only one in my family that likes to fish. I mostly fish the Green because I live about 5 minutes from it. I was at Tokul today (wednsday) for about 2 hours.
