From Thursday PI...Forks is the place to be...

"Friday through Sunday, state catch samplers for the Bogachiel/Quileute River checked 296 anglers, and they had caught and kept 277 hatchery steelhead and 14 wild steelhead while releasing 17 hatchery and six wild fish."

So it's a little crowded, still top fishing, better than 206 land.

That is some pretty good numbers. My boat was 1 for 3 awhile ago. I am looking forward to my next trip up there for some nates, to release of course. laugh

Still pretty good, but not what it was a few weeks back. An average of around 10-15 hookups a day per rod on my boat for weeks on end before my surgery ... seems to be lots 'o fish everywhere on the west side of the Cascades so far this year from the reports I've been hearing.
