Hi Scotty,
Sounds like the Giz gave ya a lesson the other day. rolleyes :p The heater we have in our boat came from Home Depot in Oly. I think it's 15,000 or 25,000 BTU and has been real reliable. Hope that helps some.
Good luck and tight lines, Jeff laugh laugh

Scotty, I don't know what a Mr Heater is but I use the kind that screws on top the 5 gal. propane tank. I have had it for 5 years and only had to replace the sensor (14.95 at coast to coast hardware) once. It is adjustable, low med. and high, 9,000 - 12,000 btu. I believe I got it at Coast to Coast. Have seen them at other hardware stores, good luck.

I feel your pain. Mr. Heaters are what I have in my drift boat and they don't last long. The finish is pretty cheasy. The drier I keep them, the less they rust. I Found that a boat cover on rainy nights on the Penninsula really helps.

I also found that my small propane tank doesn't seem to have enough pressure to make the regulator on the heater make any difference. The low/medium/high settings all seem the same. Anyone else seen this?
